Tour description:

A fantastic itinerary incorporating the best of Cambodia at a leisurely pace, starting in the capital Phnom Penh, then transfer to Siem Reap. At Angkor you will have three days to explore the complex. There is also a trip to nearby Koulen Mountain, home of the great reclining Buddha and beautiful waterfalls.

Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Phnom Penh
Upon arrival, you will be accompanied to your hotel. After checking in, you will start an afternoon tour to visit the capital.

Day 2: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap
This morning transfer by road or fly to Siem Reap. This afternoon, start your discovery of Angkor with a visit to the Rolous group, the ancient capital of the 9th century.

Day 3: Angkor Complex
This morning, visit Angkor Thom – “the World of Gods” that includes South Gate, the famous Bayon and Elephant terrace. In the afternoon, you will visit more sights before making your way to one of the sites to watch the sun set over this timeless land.

Siem Reap

Day 4: Angkor Complex
We will drive to Koulen Mountain where we will find the great reclining Buddha and the Siva lingas carved on the riverbed. Here we will have a picnic lunch before visiting Banteay Srey and Banteay Samre Temples.

Day 5: Angkor Complex
This morning is reserved to admire the beauty of Angkor Wat. In the afternoon we visit the amazing Ta Prohm as well as the temples of Banteay Kdei.

Day 6: Siem Reap
A change of pace today, as we visit the silk farm of Pok, the Artisan D’ Angkor and the Land Mine museum. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Wat Bo Pagoda and the Old market.

Day 7: Depart Siem Reap
Tour ends after breakfast. Transfer to the airport. This is a sample itinerary, so the cost really depends on your hotel choice, number of people in your group and dates of travel. An indication of the cost for this itinerary is approximately US$800- US$1,800 per person based on two people traveling in standard accommodation.
