Tour description:

Three days on the complex maze of the Mekong Delta is hardly enough for some people, but this tour will give you a taste of life on the Mekong River and its tributaries. The tour starts in Ho Chi Minh City and from there you travel to Ben Tre. Cruise down into the heart of the Delta, viewing life as the local population does. Glide on the bustling waterways, eat tropical fruits in lush orchards, look into the art of Bonsai and have tea in a typical boathouse.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Vinh Long Homestay

Depart at 08:00am from the hotel. The morning begins with a drive through the Mekong Delta to the town of Cai Be, famous for its floating markets. After touring the markets, board a private boat and cruise along the maze of waterways and canals. Stop for lunch at a small restaurant serving local delicacies on the river. Continue on to the lush orchards of Vinh Long to spend the night in a traditional home stay.

Day 2: Vinh Long – Can Tho

After breakfast, bid farewell to the family and continue on the boat to Ong Giao Garden and handicraft village, specializing in pottery, as well as fish and soya bean sauce. Enjoy this cultural experience before moving on to Vinh Long town for a local lunch. Afterwards, drive to the city of Can Tho, the economic hub of the Mekong Delta, and spend the night at a hotel.

Day 3: Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh City

In the morning, take a boat to visit Cai Rang floating market and fruit gardens in Can Tho. The tour then returns to Ho Chi Minh City.
